A Bit About Me
I offer a compassionate, confidential space for us to explore what is of importance to you and aim to work collaboratively to understand your life experiences and your perspective. I am curious of not solely what is spoken but mindful of how, through tone and body language for a deeper understanding. I provide space to really hear you and listen carefully to help you understand your feelings and look at any unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
I will work with you at a pace, depth and duration that feels right for you. This can help in understanding life's challenges, self-awareness, resilience, confidence and empowerment.
My approach comes from my personal and professional values. Sometimes working creatively can be helpful when words are not adequate or to approach issues in a gentle way. You may choose to work with images, music, writing or prefer to talk. I work with both brief therapy and also longer-term therapy.
I offer a free initial 20-minute telephone call. We can discuss what you would like from therapy and the opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have. Deciding if we feel comfortable working together as relationship is a key factor between therapist and client.
