A Bit About Me

I am a BACP-registered integrative counsellor, offering therapy to adults and young adults both in person and online. My approach is warm, collaborative and relational, providing a space where you can slow down, reflect and make sense of whatever may be happening in your life.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent almost twenty years working in a senior corporate environment. This experience gave me first-hand insight into the pressures many people face, including stress, burnout, anxiety, workplace challenges, identity shifts and major life transitions. It also taught me the importance of feeling genuinely heard, understood and supported.

My therapeutic training is rooted in transpersonal psychology, an integrative approach that values the whole person. This means I work not only with life's difficulties and challenges, but also with questions of meaning, purpose, creativity and personal growth. I believe therapy can help us both navigate suffering and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our potential.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, ADHD-related challenges, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions and feelings of being stuck or disconnected. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply have a sense that something needs attention, therapy can offer a space to explore this with curiosity and compassion.

Alongside my counselling work, I am also a qualified yoga teacher. While counselling remains at the heart of my practice, my understanding of the connection between mind, body and emotions informs the way I work. I aim to create a grounded, supportive environment where clients can develop greater self-awareness, resilience and a stronger sense of who they are.

I believe that meaningful change happens through a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, where you can bring all aspects of yourself without fear of judgement. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk alongside you as you discover what feels authentic and meaningful for you.

Warmly,

Damian
